Digital Calligraffiti returns to Berlin after the last performance in Beirut (White Wall) & to celebrate the 10 years of Creative City Berlin
The media artist Michael Ang (aka Mang) & the calligraffiti artist Drury Brennan will be composing & projecting beautiful Digital Calligraffitis for this special session, inviting the audience to share their thoughts around the topic of ‘The big good future’.
Digital Calligraffiti is an interactive installation-project, which is using the art of calligraffiti to catalyse the communication between the unit and the whole. The hand of the calligraffiti artist becomes the artistic force and gives to the messages a new dynamic via the powerful aesthetics of calligraffiti and the large scale, real-time projection of facades. It is aiming at transforming the urban screens into a canvas of expression. The project puts in the hands of the audience ‘brush to write beautifully’ their message and shake to the core our awareness on current topics.
This artistic format is focusing on facilitating a dialogue through a series of activities introducing many social groups to calligraffiti and new media artists, people’s bridge building and promoting diversities as the medium to bring us closer.
